If He were to ask you for it and press you demand it persistently you would be niggardly and this niggardliness would expose your rancour towards the religion of Islam.

"Do not be demanding when asking. If one of you asks me for anything and I give it reluctantly, there will be no blessing in it."

Sunan Abu Dawud #4635The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn ‘abbas through a different chain of narrators. This version adds:Sahih

He refused to tell him (his mistake).
