Say ‘Have you considered If your water were to sink deep into the earth who then will bring you running water?’ which hands and buckets would be able to reach like they do your water in other words none but God exalted be He would be able to bring it so how can you reject that He will resurrect you? It is commendable for one to say Allāhu rabbu’l-‘ālamīna ‘God Lord of the Worlds!’ after ma‘īn ‘running water’ as is stated in a hadīth. This verse was recited before a certain tyrant who then replied ‘Hatchets and pickaxes will bring it!’ whereupon the water of his eyes dried up and he became blind. We seek refuge with God against that we should be insolent towards Him or His verses.

Sahih Muslim #5819`Abdullah b. `Amr al-`As, reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Sahih
My Cistern (is as wide and broad that it requires) a month's journey (to go round it) all, and its sides are equal and its water is whiter than silver, and its odour is more fragrant than the fragrance of musk, and its jugs (placed around it) are like stars in the sky; and he who would drink from it would never feel thirsty after that. Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: I would be on the Cistern so that I would be seeing those who would be coming to me from you, but some people would be detained (before reaching me). I would say: My Lord, they are my followers and belong to my Ummah, and it would be said to me: Do you know what they did after you? By Allah, they did not do good after you, and they turned back upon their heels. He (the narrator) said: lbn Abu Mulaika used to say (in supplication): O Allah, I seek refuge with Thee that we should turn back upon our heels or put to any trial about our religion.
Sunan Abu Dawud #64Narrated 'Abd Allaah b. 'Umar:Hasan Sahih
The Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) was asked about water in desert. He then narrated a similar tradition (as mentioned above).
Sunan Abu Dawud #1682Narrated Sa'd ibn Ubadah:Sahih
Sa'd asked: Messenger of Allah, Umm Sa'd has died; what form of sadaqah is best? He replied: Water (is best). He dug a well and said: It is for Umm Sa'd.
Sahih Muslim #5829Haritha reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Sahih
His Cistern would be as extensive as the distance between San'a' and Medina. Mustaurid (one of the narrators) said: Did you not hear anything about the utensils? Thereupon he said. No. Mustaurid said: You would find that the utensils would be like stars.
Sunan an-Nasa'i #401It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:Sahih
"None of you should urinate into standing water which does not flow and then perform Ghusl with it." (One of the narrators) Sufyan said: "They said to Hisham - meaning Ibn Hassan - 'Ayyub only attributed this Hadith to Abu Hurairah?' So he said: 'If Ayyub is not able to raise up a narration then he does not raise it.'" That is, he narrated it from Abu Hurairah, rather than from him from the Prophet (ﷺ) while others narrated it in Marfu' form or "raised" to the Prophet (ﷺ) And perhaps by: "If he is able to not raise it" he means: "If he is not able to raise it." And Allah knows best.
