وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًۭا
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst

Narrated by Asma' reported that a woman running high fever was brought to her. She asked water to be brought and then sprinkled it in the opening of a shirt at the uppermost part of the chest and said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said:

and drive the guilty guilty on account of their disbelief into Hell a thirsty herd wirdan the accusative plural of wārid meaning ‘one who is thirsty and on foot.
