وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ
And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them].

Scholars offer complementary perspectives
(And Pharaoh led his folk astray) Pharaoh destroyed his people in the sea, (he did not guide them) he did not save them; it is also said that this means: he misguided them regarding Allah's religion and did not guide them to the Truth.
Al-Jalalayn Commentary
And Pharaoh led his people astray by calling them to worship him and he did not guide them nay he led them to destruction in contrast to what he said to them and I guide you only to the path of rectitude Q. 4029.
