The spirits are in marshaled hosts; those who know one another will be friendly, and those who do not, will keep apart.
that he asked Anas bin Malik: "Did the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) use to shake each other's hand?" He said, "Yes."
I asked Anas, "Was it a custom of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) to shake hands with one another?" He said, "Yes."
Al-Jalalayn Commentary
And some among them will turn to one another questioning each other — they ask one another about how they were in the past and what they have now attained in their delight and acknowledgement of the grace of God to them.
