(He hath taught him utterance) Allah inspired him with the exposition of everything as well as with the names of every beast on the surface of the earth.

The same but said, "O Allah, teach him (Ibn Abbas) the Book (i.e. the understanding of the knowledge of Qur'an)." Narrated Khalid: As above.

"Abu Rifa'ah said: 'I came to the Messenger of Allah sat down on it and started to teach me what Allah has taught him, then he went and completed his Khutbah.'"
‘He used to elongate his voice.’”
