Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: Al-Waaqia, Ayah 93

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Cool it down with water,” and he said: “It is from the heat of Hell-fire.”

Kal Muhl, the Prophet (s.a.w)said: 'Like boiling oil, such that when it is brought close to his face, the skin of his face will fall off into it."

Cool (the fever) with water. for it is because of the vehemence of the beat of Hell.

"Perform Wudu' from that which has been heated with fire."

The Prophet (ﷺ) said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire.

The fever from the vehement raging of the (heat of Hell), so cool it with the help of water.

“Intense fever is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”

“Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”

Bathe him with water mixed (with the leaves of) lote tree and shroud him In his two (pieces of) cloth and cover neither his head nor his face, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronoun...

I heard Allah's messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The fever is due to the intense heat of the Hell, so cool it with water.
