Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: Al-Ma'aarij, Ayah 31
فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ
But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors -

Scholars offer diverse perspectives
(But whoso seeketh more than that) whoever seeks more than what I have mentioned of wives and slaves, (those are they who are transgressors) from that which is lawful to that which is unlawful;

but whoever seeks beyond that those are the infringers who transgress the bounds of what is lawful stepping into what is unlawful;
