وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles,

Scholars offer complementary perspectives
And you shall see O Muhammad (s) the sinners the disbelievers on that day coupled chained together with their individual devils in chains manacles or collars
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(Thou wilt see the guilty) the idolaters (on that day) the Day of Judgement (linked together in chains) with the satans.
