Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Al-Israa, Ayah 87
إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّ فَضْلَهُۥ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًۭا
Except [We have left it with you] as a mercy from your Lord. Indeed, His favor upon you has ever been great.

it is only — but We have let it remain — as a mercy from your Lord. Truly His favour to you is ever great tremendous for He has revealed to you and granted you the praiseworthy station as well as other kinds of merit.
Ibn Abbas Commentary
((It is naught) save mercy) blessing (from thy Lord) He preserved the Qur'an in your heart. (Lo! His kindness unto you) through granting you prophethood and Islam (was ever great) was tremendous indeed.
