When Allah created the creation as He was upon the Throne, He put down in His Book: Verily, My mercy predominates My wrath.

The Throne of the most Gracious shook at the death of Sa'd b. Mu'adh.
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Throne of The Most Merciful trembled upon the death of Sa'd bin Mu'adh.'"
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne) it is also said that this means: He filled it; and it is also said that this is a mystery that cannot be explained.
