إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ

Ibn Abbas Commentary

(Lo! thy Lord is surely One) without a son or partner; this oath says: O people of Mecca, your Lord is One, He has no son or partner.

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

Indeed your God O people of Mecca is certainly One

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah is single (witr) and loves what is single, so observe the witr, you who follow the Qur'an.
