حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي، عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
Wine is prepared from the (fruit) of these two trees-date-palm and vine.
Narrated by Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said:

Context

Abu Huraira narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) stated that wine is made from the date-palm and vine. And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
