Then We produced for you therewith gardens of date palms and vines — these being the most common fruits of the Arabs — wherein is abundant fruit for you and whereof you eat in summer and winter.

Wine is prepared from the (fruit) of these two trees-date-palm and vine.

Sunan Ibn Majah #3114It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Sahih

“Wine comes from these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine.”

Sahih Muslim #5007Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Sahih

Wine comes from vine and date-palms. Abu Kuraib has narrated it with a slight variation of words.
