Oaths and Vows (Kitab Al-Aiman Wa Al-Nudhur)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْقَسَمَ، زَادَ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يُخْبِرْهُ ‏.‏
"He did not inform him."
Narrated by The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn 'Abbas through a different chain of narrators. In this version there is no mention of the word qasam (oath). It has the words:

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
سُورَةُ الحِجۡرِ
Al-Hijr (The Rock)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌۭ مُّنكَرُونَ
He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown."
