قَالُوا۟ يَٰنُوحُ قَدْ جَٰدَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ ج...

And I do not say to you “I possess the treasure houses of God” nor “I have knowledge of the Unseen”; nor do I say “I am an angel” nay I am human like you. Nor do I say to those whom your eyes scorn that God will not give them any good — God knows best what is in their souls in their hearts. Lo! if I were to say this then indeed I would be of the evildoers’.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is not on my own that I give you or withhold from you: I am just a treasure, putting it where I have been commanded.

Sahih al-Bukhari #2989Abu Huraira:Sahih

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Neither do I give you (anything) nor withhold (anything) from you, but I am just a distributor (i.e. Qasim), and I give as I am ordered."

Sahih Muslim #5953'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did an act, and held it to be valid. This news reached some persons amongst his Companions (and it was felt) that they did not approve of it and avoided (it). This reaction of theirs was conveyed to him. He stood to deliver an address; and said:Sahih

What has happened to the people to whom there was conveyed on my behalf a matter for which I granted permission and they disapproved it and avoided it? By Allah, I have the best knowledge of Allah amongst them, and I fear Him most amongst them.
