And mention the day when the earth will be changed to other than the earth and the heavens namely the Day of Resurrection mankind shall be gathered onto a white clear earth as reported in the hadīth of the two Shaykhs al-Bukhārī and Muslim. Muslim relates the following hadīth ‘The Prophet s was asked “Where will people be on that day?” He said “On the Bridge sirāt” ’; and they shall come forth they shall exit from their graves to God the One the Almighty.

“The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of all that exists.” One of them will stand in his sweat up to halfway up his ears.”

Sahih Muslim #6882'A'isha reported:Sahih

I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about the words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious:" The day when the earth would be changed for another earth and Heaven would be changed for another Heaven (XiV. 48), (and inquired: ) (Allah's Messenger), where would the people be on that day? He said: They would be on the Sirat.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi #3420Ibn Umar narrated from the Prophet:Da'if

‘They Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of all that exists.’ He said: “One of them will be standing in sweat up to the middle of his ears.”

Sahih Muslim #6876Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:Sahih

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will take in His grip the Earth on the Day of Judgment and He would roll up the sky in His right hand and would say: I am the Lord; where are the sovereigns of the world?

Sunan Ibn Majah #4271Sa'eed bin Musayyab narrated that Abu Hurairah used to say:Hasan

"The Messenger of Allah said: Allah will seize the earth on the Day of Ressurection, and He will roll up the heavens in his Right Hand, then He will say, "I am the Sovereign. Where are the kings of the earth?'"
