O my father! Do not worship Satan by obeying him through your worship of idols. Truly Satan is disobedient the intensive form‘asiyyan means ‘one given to disobedience’ to the Compassionate One.

Do not detest your fathers; he who detested his father committed infidelity.

Sahih Muslim #1533Abdullah reported:Sahih

None of you should give a share to Satan out of your self. He should not deem that it is necessary for him to turn but to the right only (after prayer). I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turning to the left.

The Prophet (ﷺ) once offered the prayer and said, "Satan came in front of me and tried to interrupt my prayer, but Allah gave me an upper hand on him and I choked him. No doubt, I thought of tying him to one of the pillars of the mosque till you get up in the morning and see him. Then I remembered the statement of Prophet Solomon, 'My Lord ! Bestow on me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me.' Then Allah made him (Satan) return with his head down (humiliated)."
