And We made a gourd plant to grow above him to provide shade for him with its stem which is not the case usually with gourds as a miracle for him; a mountain goat would come to him in the morning and in the evening and he would drink its milk until he finally regained his strength.

Sunan Ibn Majah #3040It was narrated from Hakin bin Jabr that his father said:Da'if

“I entered upon the Prophet (ﷺ) in his house, and he had some of this gourd. I said: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Qar’; it is Dubba’. We augment our food with it.”*

Sunan an-Nasa'i #5649It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said:Sahih

"He forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds) specifically."

I was a young boy when I once was walking with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) entered the house of his slave tailor and the latter brought a dish filled with food covered with pieces of gourd. Allah's Apostle started picking and eating the gourd. When I saw that, I started collecting and placing the gourd before him. Then the slave returned to his work. Anas added: I have kept on loving gourd since I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) doing what he was doing.

Sunan an-Nasa'i #5746It was narrated from Ibn Al-Dailami that his father said:Sahih

"We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have grapevines; what should we do with them?' He said: 'Make raisins.' We said: 'What should we do with the raisins?' He said: 'Soak them in the morning and drink them in the evening, and soak them in the evening and drink them in the morning.' I said: 'Can we leave it until it gets stronger?' He said: 'Do not put it in clay vessels, rather put it in skins, for if it stays there for a long time, it will turn into vinegar.'"
