Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: Yusuf, Ayah 27

وَإِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن دُبُرٍۢ فَكَذَبَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful."

but if his shirt has been torn from behind then she has lied and he is of the truthful’.

Narrated by Umm Salamah said that she asked the prophet (ﷺ); Can a woman pray in a shirt and veil without wearing a lower garment? He replied:

Narrated by 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

Narrated by Humaid b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf reported that his mother Umm Kulthum daughter of 'Uqba b. Abu Mu'ait, and she was one amongst the first emigrants who pledged allegiance to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), as saying that she heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
