Tafsir Ibn Abbas: An-Noor, Ayah 49

An-Noor · Ayah 49 · View Ayah
وَإِن يَكُن لَّهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ يَأْتُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ
But if the right is theirs, they come to him in prompt obedience.

Ibn Abbas Commentary

(But if right had been with them) with the people of 'Uthman (they would have come unto him) to the Prophet (pbuh) (willingly) in haste and obediently.
