And do not obey any mean despicable oath-monger given to frequent swearing by falsehood

It does not seem proper for a Siddiq that he should be an invoker of curse.
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(Neither obey thou) O Muhammad (each feeble) with regard to the religion of Allah (oath monger) who lies against Allah. This refers to al-Walid Ibn al-Mughirah al-Makhzumi,
