(as regards the Verse):--'You shall surely travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter).' (It means) from one state to another. That concerns your Prophet.

“You will be picked over just as (good) dates are selected (separated) from its bad ones. So the best of you will be taken and the worst of you will be left, so die if you can.”

I heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying. Every servant would be raised (in the same very state) in which he dies.

from his father, from his grandfather "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed you shall be gathered walking, riding, and being dragged upon your faces.'"
