أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ يَا عَلِيُّ سَلِ اللَّهَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَنَهَانِي أَنْ أَجْعَلَ الْخَاتَمَ فِي هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ ‏.‏ وَأَشَارَ يَعْنِي بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى ‏.‏
