Wa laqad arsalnaa Rusulam min qablika minhum man qasasnaa 'alaika wa minhum mal lam naqsus 'alaik; wa maa kaana li Rasoolin any yaatiya bi Aayatin illaa bi iznil laah; fa izaa jaaa'a amrul laahi qudiya bilhaqqi wa khasira hunaalikal mubtiloon

And verily We sent messengers before you. Of them are those whom We have recounted to you and of them are those whom We have not recounted to you it is reported that God exalted be He sent 8000 prophets 4000 prophets sent from among the Children of Israel and the other 4000 from among the remainder of mankind. And it was never permitted for any messenger from among them to bring a sign except with God’s permission for they are also servants enthralled by Him. Hence when God’s command comes for the chastisement to be sent down on the disbelievers judgement between the messengers and their deniers is passed justly; and it is thence that the advocates of falsehood become losers that is to say it is thence that the judgement and the loss become manifest for mankind although such advocates of falsehood will have always been losers always before that.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us (to give us an address) and he left out nothing that would happen up to the last hour without telling of it. Some remembered it and some forgot, and these Companions of his have known it. When something of it which I have forgotten happens, I remembered it, just as a man remembers another's face when he is a away and recognizes him when he sees him.

Sahih Muslim #682Abu al. 'Ala' b. al-Shikhkhir said:Sahih

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) abrogated some of his commands by others, just as the Qur'an abrogates some part with the other.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi #1224Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:Hasan

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to the people of weights and measures: "Indeed you have been entrusted with two matters that nations preceding you in the past were destroyed for." We do not know this Hadith to be Marfu' except through the narration of Husain bin Qais, and Husain bin Qais was graded weak in Hadith. This has been reported as Maquf narration from Ibn 'Abbas with a Sahih chain of narration.

Sunan Ibn Majah #3490It was narrated that Ibn Umar said:Sahih
