Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
Da'if

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَلَمَّا قَالَ ‏{وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏ "‏ آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَسَمِعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ ‏.‏
“I performed prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) and when he said: ‘Nor of those who went astray’, he said Amin and we heard that from him.”

Context

In this narration, 'Abdul-Jabbar bin Wa’il recounts an incident where he prayed with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and they mistakenly prayed in a direction other than the Qiblah due to overcast skies. Upon realizing this, they informed the Prophet ﷺ, who reassured them with the revelation that wherever one turns, there is the Face of Allah.
