Mention when Moses said to his family to his wife during his journey from Midian back to Egypt ‘Assuredly I notice I see in the distance a fire. I will bring you news from there about the journey’s route — for he had lost his way — or bring you a firebrand read as a genitive annexation bi-shihābi qabasin as an explication of shihāb ‘flame’; or read without annexation bi-shihābin qabasin meaning a flame of fire at the end of a wick or a wooden stick that perhaps you might warm yourselves’ tastalūn the tā’ replaces the tā’ of the 8th verbal form ifta‘ala sc. istalā; it derives from salaya or saliya ‘to be exposed to the blaze of fire’ that perhaps you might warm yourselves from the cold.

When this verse was revealed:" And warn thy nearest kindred (al-Qur'an, xxvi. 214), the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called the Quraish; so they gathered and he gave them a general warning. Then he made a particular (reference to certain tribes) and said: O sons of Ka'b b. Luwayy, rescue yourselves from the Fire; O sons of Murra b. Ka'b, rescue yourselves from the Fire: O sons of Abd Shams, rescue yourselves from the Fire; 0 sons of Abd Manaf rescue yourselves from the Fire; O sons of Hashim, rescue yourselves from the Fire; 0 sons of Abd al-Muttalib, rescue yourselves from the Fire; O Fatimah, rescue thyself from the Fire, for I have no power (to protect you) from Allah in anything except this that I would sustain relationship with you.

Sunan an-Nasa'i #3652It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:Sahih

"When the following was revealed: 'And warn your tribe (O Muhammad) of near kindred,' the Messenger of Allah called the Quraish and they gathered, and he spoke in general and specific terms, then he said: 'O Banu Ka'b bin Lu'ayy! O Banu Murrah bin Ka'b! O Banu 'Abd Shams! O Banu 'Abd Manaf! O Banu Hisham! O Banu 'Abdul-Muttalib! Save yourselves from the Fire! O Fatimah! Save yourself from the Fire. I cannot avail you anything before Allah, but I will uphold the ties of kinship with you."

Ibn Abbas, the son of your Prophet's uncle, told us that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had observed: On the night of my night journey I passed by Moses b. 'Imran (peace be upon him), a man light brown in complexion, tall. well-built as if he was one of the men of the Shanu'a, and saw Jesus son of Mary as a medium-statured man with white and red complexion and crisp hair, and I was shown Malik the guardian of Fire, and Dajjal amongst the signs which were shown to me by Allah. He (the narrator) observed: Then do not doubt his (i. e. of the Holy Prophet) meeting with him (Moses). Qatada elucidated it thus: Verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), met Moses (peace be upon him).

"We, the family of Muhammad, would go for a month without kindling a fire, having only water and dates."

Abu Musa reported that a house was burnt down in Medina during the night over its inhabitants. When their matter was reported to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), he said; This fire is an enemy of yours. So when you go to sleep, extinguish it.
