She said ‘Woe to me! yā waylatā is an expression used in reaction to a serious matter; the alif suffixed in waylatā substitutes for the yā’ of the genitive annexation waylatī ‘my woe’. Shall I bear a child when I am an old woman 99 years old and this my husband is an old man? 100 or 120 years old shaykhan is in the accusative because it is a circumstantial qualifier operated by the demonstrative import of dhā ‘this’. Truly this is a strange thing’ that a child should be born to such an aged couple.

" She said: Can it be possible?" And it is also mentioned in it:" He said: The cloak of this (man) is old and worn out."

Sunan an-Nasa'i #1887It was narrated from Abu Al-Hasan, the freed slave of Umm Qais bint Mihsan, that Umm Qais said:Sahih

"My son died, and I felt very sad. I said to the one who was washing him: 'Do not wash my son with cold water and kill him." 'Ukashah bin Mihsan went to the Messenger of Allah and told him what she had said, and he smiled then said: "What did she say, may Allah give her long life?" And we do not know of any woman who lived as long as she lived.

Sunan Ibn Majah #1610It was narrated that:Hasan

Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six years old. Then we came to Al-Madinah and settled among Banu Harith bin Khazraj. I became ill and my hair fell out, then it grew back and became abundant. My mother Umm Ruman came to me while I was on an Urjuhah with some of my friends, and called for me. I went to her, and I did not know what she wanted. She took me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house, and I was panting. When I got my breath back, she took some water and wiped my face and head, and led me into the house. There were some woman of the Ansar inside the house, and they said: 'With blessings and good fortune (from Allah).' (My mother) handed me over to them and they tidied me up. And suddenly I saw the Messenger of Allah in the morning. And she handed me over to him and I was at that time, nine years old.”
