فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍۢ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًۭا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Faman khaafa mim moosin janafan aw isman fa aslaha bainahum falaaa ismaa 'alayh; innal laaha Ghafooru Raheem
But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Tafsir
Scholars largely agree on this ayah
But if any one fears injustice an error in straying from what is right or sin because he has purposely increased the share of a third or specified a rich individual from one making testament read mūsī or muwassī and so makes things right between them the testator and the trustee by commanding that justice be done then no sin shall be upon him with regard to this matter; surely God is Forgiving Merciful.

The deeds are presented on every Thursday and Monday and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious. grants pardon to every person who does not associate anything with Allah except the person in whose (heart) there is rancour against his brother. It would be said: Put both of them off until they are reconciled.
A believer does not undergo (the trouble) of running a thorn or more than that when Allah effaces his sins.
Whoever agrees with a Muslim to cancel a transaction Allah will forgive his sins on the Day of Resurrection. "
